Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations - Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York - plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practices locations, including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care, and two urgent care offices. Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, including the Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and the Home Care organizations.*Summary: *The Director of Outpatient Imaging Nuvance Health oversees outpatient imaging, to include business development and ensure the operating success of all programs/sites. Working in collaboration with the Vice President of Ambulatory Services and the Chair of Diagnostic Imaging (East and West), develops and drives financial, operational, marketing and facility planning for all outpatient programs/sites. This position will implement a standard operating model for Imaging services (all modalities) and ensure the responsibility, authority and accountability are well-defined and understood at all levels.This role will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and day-to-day operations of all Hospital-based Outpatient Imaging locations and free standing joint venture sites across Nuvance Health. Will ensure the successful execution of agreed objectives and long-term goals for these programs.*Responsibilities: *1. In collaboration with the clinical and technical leaders implements a standard operating model for outpatient imaging and ensures that responsibility, authority and accountability are well-defined and understood at all levels.2. Aligned with the Vice President of Ambulatory Services and the Chair(s)of Diagnostic Imaging (East and West) develops and drives financial, operational, marketing and facility planning for all outpatient programs/sites. Assures on going program development and growth.3. Prepares/manages salary, budget and financial objectives. Maximize monthly program utilization and system optimization to include: supply chain contracts, IT enhancements, workforce productivity.4. Creates project plans expanding service offerings in programs.*5. Evaluates program metrics to include: * imaging volume, appointment accessibility, overall patient experience, quality performance indicators and employee engagement across the system.6. Collaborates with corporate services, local hospital leadership and Imaging staff.7. Recruits, hires and manages staff. Guides and directs hiring of imaging technical managers/supervisors.8. Implements policies to ensure employee development, capable management succession and continual coverage for all critical roles.9. Maintains regular meeting cadence with direct reports to ensure on going assessment of performance.10. Serves as system chair of Imaging Standardization and Optimization Team (ISOT) and participates in all related subcommittees.10. Visible leader who actively rounds at all outpatient locations.11. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (MQSA, ACR, CMS, NYSDOH, CT DOH, NRC)12. Manages vendor relationships and assures contract compliance.13. Models and maintains Nuvance Health Values.14. Performs other duties as required.Other Information*EDUCATION: **Required: * Bachelors required, masters preferred. Must hold current ARRT, ARDMS or NMTCB certification and NY or CT license.*Years of Experience: * In a leader role 5 years minimum, 10 years preferred.
