Objective Statement: Standardizes and improves all Procurement processes across Americas, including Procurement Master Data, Source to Contract, Purchase to Pay, Spend Analytics, Procurement Reporting and Controlling, i.e., the implementation of key performance indicators and worldwide procurement performance controlling process in close interrelationship with the multi-functional teams. Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities Procurement Processes

  • Implement Procurement Processes, Standards & Measures
  • Drive process harmonisation & standardisation within Americas
  • Drive/decide/consult on continuous process improvement
  • Manage process integration with other process owners (within or outside Procurement)
  • Collect, harmonise & prioritise requirements from operating segment/Procurement Centre
  • Prepare business case for changes/enhancements
  • Analyse process performance based on KPIs and drive KPI improvement
  • Supports wide variety of sourcing initiatives in alignment with procurement tasks and priorities
  • Supports purpose and vision for strategic and operational team that supports larger organizational goals Systems, Tools
    • Align any tool implementations/ enhancements with different country procurement teams
    • Manage system integration to local systems, e.g., ERP
      • Coordinate/ develop/ improve ERP Data Extraction to improve data transparency in BW, Tableau, Celonis etc
      • Implement/ deploy/ maintain all Procurement applications (e.g., JDE, SRM, Ivalua etc)
      • Maintain procurement master data of the operating segment -Projects
        • Initiate & steer projects and engage support functions
        • Develop, communicate, and implement change management strategy People
          • Interacts with senior management and a wide variety of other business partners
          • Ensure alignment and proper communication with all Procurement Centers
          • Appropriate appointment of operating segment sub-process owners Key Interfaces (External (E) vs Internal(I))
            • (I) Corporate Internal Audit: Audit Process
            • (I) Information Technology: implementation and administration of Procurement systems & tools
            • (I) PMO: Integration of procurement processes in global ERP
            • (E) (External) Business Consulting Teams: projects (e.g., Big Data)
            • (I) Finance Directors and Controllers
            • (E) Government Liaison - Supplier diversity Job Requirements:Qualifications/Skills
              • University degree in a business management, engineering, or related discipline
              • MBA or other post-graduate executive programs is a plus, e.g.: financial mgmt.,
              • 10+ years professional experience
              • 7+ years' experience as senior project manager, preferably in procurement / IT, enterprise application management
              • 5 years of general management experience Capabilities / Technical Expertise
                • Excellent knowledge of best practices, systems, and tools in all Procurement processes (Master Data, Source to Contract, Purchase-To-Pay)
                • Capability to implement Procurement standards in close relationship with different teams
                • In-depth understanding of Procurement performance analysis
                • Technical expertise in procurement relevant Information System tools like JDE, SAP ERP MM & FI, BW, other Reporting Systems, Databases as well as all integrational aspects
