Electrical Engineer CCAHybrid role (2 - 3 days in the office)12+ month contract assignment, 40 hours a weekUS CitizenshipBackground check and drug test are required. Seeking Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design experienced electrical engineers. There will be a series of CCAs developed as part of this effort. The CCAs are analog discrete digital designs that do NOT have any programmable devices or microprocessors on them.- The CCAs in the system are designed for a 60-year life. To ensure that the CCAs meet this requirement, stress analysis and reliability analysis will be performed on each module type to verify that circuitry will not be over stressed by the design. Parts obsolescence is always a concern with any electronic equipment in today's market. The system modules will be developed using discrete digital and linear devices, primarily from the 74HC high speed CMOS family. - This logic family is widely supported by many manufacturers and can be expected to remain available for several decades into the future.Each CCA should be designed around an overall core functionality such as: Power Supply Section Module Status Indicators Connector InterfaceThese engineers will be tasked with the following: Develop Common CCA sections Develop CCA Schematics Component selection and associated documentation Stress Analysis Reliability Analysis Assist in CCA layout and assembly drawing creation FMEA at the CCA level Assist in the development of the Maintenance and Troubleshooting Technical Manual Developmental Integration Testing of the prototypesEducation:Bachelor's DegreeIt is the policy of GCR to provide equal opportunity to all qualified applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran or disabled status, or genetic information.
