Nuvance Health is a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital, and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center, and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practice locations including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care, and two urgent care offices. Non-acute care is offered through our affiliates including the Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services and the Home Care organizations. Summary: The Data Engineer III is responsible for the technical implementation of the reporting and analytic tools across Nuvance Health. Transforms data from internal and external sources to provide timely, meaningful, and actionable insight to clinical teams and leaders to drive organizational improvement. Collaboration with end-users throughout the organization to determine information and data needs and conceptualize, design, and develop data visualization solutions into clear communications for key stakeholders and decision makers. Responsibilities: The ability to discuss and gather data requirements from multiple categories of stakeholders and translate into concise actionable tasksExperience operationalizing advanced analytical and data science models to deliver impactful results to the right audience at the right timeExtract, query, transform, visualize, and interpret data multiple platformsCollaborate with internal and external teams to understand business needs/issues, troubleshoot problems, conduct root cause analysis, and develop cost effective resolutions for data anomaliesTeam leader within a work group or on cross-functional teams; accepts team lead stretch assignments, resource for colleagues with less experience. Presents to broader senior leadership team. Understands other business units and how they affect the team and work.Identifies, designs, and implements internal process improvements optimizing data delivery and automating manual processesApply quantitative analysis and data visualization to tell the story behind the numbers while supporting data-driven decision making. Use technical skills, problem solving, and business knowledge to deliver custom datasets to clients that meet or exceed expectations. Implement proactive improvements to processes and methods for gathering and aggregating data.
