MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER- (DANBURY, CT)Amphenol RF is a global

OVERVIEWResponsible for the design and development of RF Coaxial
connectors.ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESUsing established
procedures and working under immediate supervision, performs
assigned tasks.Work is routine and instructions are usually
detailed.Little evaluation, originality or ingenuity is
required.Utilize 3D CAD (Pro-E/CREO) model and draft connector
components and assemblies.Perform tolerance studies.Apply RF design
concepts to design high performance transmission lines.Work with
the RF Engineer to validate and optimize RF performance.Analyze or
facilitate the analysis of mechanical requirements using FEA as
required.Process Engineering Change Orders and New Product
Releases.Perform and document electrical and mechanical testing of
prototypes.Maintain organized project files.Communicate with
customers, vendors, and internal departments as part of a
cross-functional team to move the product design through a phased
development processAbility to travel when necessaryAny other duties
as assigned.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTBachelor's degree in
Mechanical Engineering with Three (3) to five (5) years related
