Summary: The Cloud Engineer focuses on Azure Security & Management.
Experienced in Complete Cloud life cycle planning, delivery, and
strategy, along with cloud computing and technology solutions on
Azure, the Cloud Engineer is hands-on in Azure Development and has
experience with Azure web application, Azure application services,
Azure storage, Azure SQL Database, and virtual machines. Essential
Functions: 1.Manage the technical configuration and governance for
the environment2.Manage the Azure/Office 365 tenant3.Design and
implement cloud solutions that are secure, scalable, resilient,
monitored, auditable, and cost-optimized4.Write Infrastructure as
Code (IaC) using Industry standard tools and services5.Write
application deployment automation using industry-standard
deployment and configuration tools6.Design and implement continuous
delivery pipelines that serve the purpose of provisioning and
operating client test as well as production environments7.Assess
existing systems to discover potential weaknesses that could
compromise cloud security8.Provide systems support including
responding to monitoring alerts9.Implement and stay abreast of
Cloud and Cloud industry best practices and tooling10.IT
infrastructure maintenance and management which comprises hardware,
software, network, storage, virtual and remote assets, and control
over cloud data storage11.Planning and implementation of data and
storage management solutions in Azure (SQL, Azure files, Queue
storage, Blob storage)12.Assess existing systems to discover
potential weaknesses that could compromise cloud
security13.Familiar with virtualization technologies, i. e.,
VMware, Hyper-V14.Work with developers to identify necessary Azure
resources and automate provisioning15.Document automation
processes16.Create and document disaster recovery plan17.Work with
the development team and key stakeholders to create a plan for
monitoring Azure resources18.Work closely with key stakeholders to
capture, analyze, and derive Cloud requirements Position
RequirementsRequirements, Education and Experience:Five (5) years
of Azure experience, requiredProficient verbal and written English
