The Product Manager is responsible for managing Zumtobel's
Product Portfolio for the North American market, including
selection and specification of new products, establishment of
prices and budgets, market positioning for assigned products,
discontinuation of products, and responsibility for growth and
gross margin as per agreed upon budget.
--- Follow market needs and make sure that the right products for
the NA market are being developed globally. Provide Feedback about
the NA demands to the PM in Europe. Make sure that NA requirements
are considered in the global product specification.
--- If Europe is not developing products we need for the NA market,
or our requirements can not be met with the global design approach,
prepare a product development plan for design in the US for
--- After approval, track the product development ensuring the
product is being launched on time and on budget. The PM has the
ultimate responsibility to make sure that the product can be
launched on time.
--- Determine which products needs to be deleted from the product
portfolio and phased out
--- Set prices, Gross Margin targets, and sales budgets for the new

Communications (brochures, sample kits, sample presentations)
