Job Description Job Description 80,000 - 90,000 A multi-billion dollar financial services company located near Sayreville, NJ, is looking for a Sr. Accountant. This is a hybrid opportunity (3 days in office/2 work from home) Benefits: Paid time off 401k Dental insurance Vision insurance Medical insurance Life insurance Responsibilities Prepare and review quarterly financial statements, investor capital account statements, and supporting workpapers. Reconcile, review, and manage cash balances. Deliver investor communications via our online investor portal. Book and review journal entries. Prepare and send capital call and distribution notices to investors. Own processes beginning to end and manage every aspect of your assigned Funds’ operations. Assist with the annual audit by providing supporting documents to our external auditors. Compile and analyze data to be presented to senior management Qualifications: 2 years experience in private equity accounting, with public accounting experience a plus. Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Ability to operate effectively with limited supervision and are a self-starter. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work well independently and within a team atmosphere. Passed the CPA exam or are actively pursuing.
