Job Description:
Design, develop and deploy data-related products that will
improve clients’ data management strategy and business intelligence. Create
strategic direction for company’s analytics practice. Perform big data
analysis for financial, operational and analytical analysis of the
manufacturing industry. Develop analytics tools using Excel VBA, Lindo WB,
SQL, Matlab, Python, R, Scala, Spark. Utilize hands-on experience with
packages such as Numpy, Pandas, Statsmodels, scikit, MLpy, SciPy, SQLDF, dplyr,
ggplots2, matplotlib, and NLTK to work with complex data sets, as well as
to create solid predictive modeling and machine learning tools. Utilize
experience with frameworks such as torch, tensorflow, keras to work with
deep learning models. Perform client consulting and lead teams to identify and
resolve key strategic, organizational, and operational challenges faced
by our clients. Perform big data analytics and utilize industrial
knowledge to identify real-world business issues and challenges for our
clients; synthesize industrial expertise, big data processing
capabilities, data science modeling skills and fact-based consulting approaches to
guide clients to solve business challenges. Perform consulting for
purchasing and risk management functions for key industries such as
automotive OEM, automotive tier 1, industrial manufacturing, white goods
manufacturing, renewable energy, telecommunications, and mobile OEM. Build mass
email send-out marketing campaign tools and Salesforce integration to
support sales process. Requires domestic and international travel up to
80% of the time. Education & Experience Requirements: Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Information Systems,
Computer Science or related field (willing to accept foreign education
equivalent) plus 3 years of experience in management consulting and analytic
tool development for the manufacturing industry. Or, alternatively, a
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience as noted above. Also requires: (1) Demonstrated expertise designing and developing big data
analytics, machine learning and optimization tools using Excel VBA, Lindo
WB, SQL, Matlab, Python, SQL, R and Scala; (2) Demonstrated expertise conducting regression analysis for
raw materials markets, including steel, iron ore, industrial scrap, resins,
carbon fiber, copper and aluminum, and performing predictive analysis based on
industrial knowledge, event analysis and advanced stochastic methods; (3) Demonstrated expertise performing consulting and analysis
for the steelmaking and steel application industries, including
production, value chain, supply chain, end use, and products (hot-rolled steel,
cold-rolled steel, hot dip galvanized steel, steel plate, and electric
steel); (4) Demonstrated expertise analyzing trade regulations related
to key raw materials importing; (5)Demonstrated expertise developing commodity price risk
management strategy, including financial hedging, physical hedging, cost
recovery analysis, gross margin alignment, and contract language
mitigation; (6) Demonstrated expertise modeling gross margin volatility,
including cost vs. sales price, regression analysis for raw material markets,
and correlation analysis; (7) Demonstrated expertise applying advanced statistics to
analyze sales and operations planning, such as sales forecasting accuracy and
forecasting error margin evaluation using trend estimation theory measured
by Mean Absolute Percentage Error; (8) Demonstrated expertise utilizing Monte Carlo simulation and
Black- Scholes-Merton model to price financial derivatives; (9) Demonstrated expertise performing financial modeling and
benchmarking skills including Return on Invested Capital Analysis (ROIC),
cost and capital efficiency matrix, and modeling to perform industry and
sub- industry benchmarking; and, (10)Demonstrated expertise applying big data science, including
with key theories such as machine learning, deep learning, and neutral
